Terms · plain words, no lawyerese
A sharp tool, honestly described.
Using Fuego means agreeing to the following — written to be read, because terms you can't understand protect no one.
Not financial advice
Fuego is a tracking and visualization tool. Everything it shows — projections, FIRE math, the resilience score, the debrief, every chart — is arithmetic over numbers you entered and assumptions you set. None of it is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and none of it knows your full situation.
Projections are illustrative futures, not promised ones: markets vary, and the “4% rule” is a research heuristic, not a guarantee. Before acting on anything this app helped you see, talk to a qualified professional who can actually be responsible for the answer.
Your account and your data
With an account, your records are stored under your login and only your login can read them (see Privacy). You're responsible for keeping your password and email access safe — password resets go to that inbox. As a guest, your data lives in your browser and nowhere else: clearing browser storage or losing the device deletes it permanently, and we cannot restore it. Either way, the JSON backup in Settings is yours to keep — export one now and then.
You can delete your account and every record under it at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
As is, best effort
Fuego is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind — including accuracy of calculations, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard to keep the math right and the app dependable, but you use it at your own risk, and we aren't liable for decisions made or losses incurred based on what it shows.
Fair use
Don't abuse the service — no scraping the price API, probing for holes, or using the app to store anything unlawful. It's a net-worth notebook; keep it that.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the date below changes with them — check back when it does. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.
